Introducing Livelox at the Austin Orienteering Club (The use of Livelox is optional.​)
Starting with our event on October 19, 2024, at Garey Park, TX, the Austin Orienteering Club will be utilizing Livelox to enhance your orienteering experience. Livelox is a powerful tool that allows participants to record and analyze their routes, compare performance with others, and even replay the race in real-time.

How Livelox Works:
Real-Time Tracking: Record your route using the Livelox mobile app or sync with your GPS device (Strava, Garmin, etc.).
Post-Race Analysis: Upload your route to compare with other participants and analyze your performance.
Replay Feature: Watch your race unfold alongside other competitors' tracks.

Get Started:

2. Download the Livelox app or connect your GPS device.
3. Participate in the event and upload your route for post-race analysis.

Daytime Point-to-Point Courses:
Kick off your adventure with our daytime point-to-poit courses, designed for all skill levels. Navigate through the stunning landscapes of McKinney Falls State Park, using your map-reading and compass skills to find designated control points.

Directions
From Dripping Springs
Take RR 12 north and drive approximately 4.6 miles. Turn right at Fitzhugh Road and go 1.8 miles. Turn left on Crumley Ranch Road. Drive 1.1 miles to the Shield Ranch west entrance on the right. Once inside the gate, follow the main paved road about 1 mile until you see the entrance to the Campsite parking lot on your left. 

From Austin
Drive to Bee Cave via Bee Caves Rd., Southwest Parkway or US 71. From Bee Cave, take US 71 north past RM 620. Turn left at the next traffic light at RR 3238 (Hamilton Pool Road). Drive 3.7 miles to Crumley Ranch Road. Turn left and go 2.1 miles to the Shield Ranch west entrance on the left. Once inside the gate, follow the main paved road about 1 mile until you see the entrance to the Campsite parking lot on your left.
